Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TradesBrain text-message (SMS) service operated by Don Johnson, doing business as DJ AI Business Consultant ("we", "us"), on behalf of independent trade contractors (the "Service"). By texting a contractor's business number or using a booking link sent by the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

The Service collects your service request by text, sends a draft estimate, and lets you request an appointment. The Service is a communication and scheduling tool. The contractor you contacted, not DJ AI Business Consultant, performs the work and is responsible for the final price, scheduling, workmanship, licensing, and insurance.

2. SMS program terms

• Program: TradesBrain conversational service requests and appointment scheduling.
• Opt-in: You opt in by sending the first text to the contractor's published business number.
• Frequency: Varies by conversation; typically 5–10 messages per service request.
• Cost: Message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You will receive one confirmation message.
• Help: Reply HELP, or contact us at djohnson@djaiconsulting.com or (315) 456-9466.
• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3. Estimates

Estimates sent by the Service are drafts prepared from the information you provide and the contractor's pricing guidelines. They are not binding offers. The final price is confirmed by the contractor, typically on site, before any work begins.

4. Appointments

An appointment request made through the booking page is a request, not a confirmed booking, until the contractor confirms it by text or phone.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to send unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent content, or to submit requests you do not intend to pursue. We may suspend access for misuse.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it is used and is incorporated into these terms.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, DJ AI Business Consultant is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, from the accuracy of any draft estimate, or from the acts or omissions of any contractor.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
